Delete your EvenKeel account
This page is for the EvenKeel app, package com.evenkeel.app. It explains how to delete the account, what is removed, what stays, and for how long.
Delete it in the app
- Open EvenKeel and sign in.
- Open More.
- Open Settings.
- Choose Delete account.
- Type DELETE and confirm.
The account is deleted when you confirm. You cannot sign in again with that email and password.
Request deletion without the app
If you cannot open EvenKeel, email rafaeldecarvalho.ps@gmail.com from the email address on the account. Say that you want your EvenKeel account deleted, and include that email address.
Email requests are completed within 30 days of receipt. You will not be asked to install the app or to buy anything in order to delete the account.
What is deleted
Deleting the account removes:
- Your email address and password. EvenKeel does not keep a copy of them after the account is deleted.
- Your ability to sign in.
- The push token registered for that account.
- If you are the only parent in the family: the family record, including children's profiles, the schedule, messages, expenses, receipt photos, and info-bank entries. That record is deleted with the account. It is not kept for an extra period.
What is kept, and for how long
If the other parent is still in the family, the shared messages, calendar, expenses, receipt photos, and info bank stay so that parent keeps the record. Your name on those entries is replaced with "Deleted parent."
Those shared entries stay until the remaining parent deletes their account, or until that family record is otherwise removed. They are not kept for a separate extra period after that. EvenKeel does not keep your email or password as part of those entries.
There is no additional retention period for the deleted account itself. An in-app deletion is finished when you confirm. An email request is finished within 30 days.
