EvenKeel privacy policy

Last updated: 29 October 2026. This policy covers the EvenKeel app, package com.evenkeel.app.

If a court order names a specific app, follow that order. EvenKeel is not legal advice and is not a court filing system.

Who it is for

The app is for parents. Children do not have accounts. EvenKeel does not knowingly collect information directly from a child.

What is stored

Account data is your name, email address, and a password hash. The family record you type includes children's names and birth dates, the parenting schedule, events, messages, expenses, optional receipt photos, and info-bank details such as school, medical notes, contacts, and clothing sizes.

The app also keeps notices on the phone and, if you allow reminders, a push token for that device.

When you sign in, that family record is stored so the two linked parents can see the same record. The sample family on a phone that is not signed in stays on that device.

How it is used

To show both linked parents the same calendar, messages, expenses, and child details, and to export a copy. Messages are kept as sent, with the time they were saved and whether the other parent has read them.

EvenKeel does not sell personal information, does not show ads, and does not use the family record for advertising.

Who else sees it

The signed-in family record is limited to the two linked parents. Receipt photos stay in private storage. A store subscription, when one is offered, is processed by Google Play or the App Store. Those stores do not receive message text. Push delivery uses Expo and the phone platform's notification service (Firebase Cloud Messaging on Android).

How long it is kept

You can delete your account in the app, or by email if you cannot open the app. The steps, what is deleted, what is kept, and for how long are on the account deletion page.

Your choices

You can export a date range and turn phone reminders off in system settings. Parents in the United Kingdom, the EEA, Brazil, and similar regions may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal data, and to complain to a supervisory authority. This policy does not waive those rights.
